Just wondering how many folks here are into microblogging or ephemeral blogging? What platform do you use? I'm on Twitter.

Good question. I had a look at Twitter several times, but somehow I don't get.
Blogs are often criticized for having trivial content of no interest to anyone. Looking at Twitter I feel there is even more uninteresting content. Posts like "I'm at work", "Going home", "I'm at home now", "Watching Baywatch" are not appealing to a larger audience. I'm not even sure close friends would be interested in this ;-)
But of course there are some more interesting posts in between, but I' don't understand why you need another service for them. What does Twitter give you, you don't get from a "normal" blog?

I took a look at Twitter, but to be honest(and I'm not picky when it comes to blogs), I didn't really care for it. It just doesn't seem like what I'm looking for in a blog. ![]()
But I can really only understand that to the best extent if I try it, which I will sooner or later ![]()

actually I'm not using twitter because I don't want to follow someone.
I want to follow my self. Although I'm fan of some actress but I don't want to have twitter account.
It is more fun using facebook than any other social networking sites.

I have a twitter account and find it great to find interesting sites that help me with with my current e-project, I can find others that are intrested in the same stuff as me, I teach how to embed e in education so twitter comes in very handy.
Cheers
